Angela Homoki-Szabo Obituary

Of Buffalo, New York. Daughter of the late Paul & IIona Lipoczi Homoki-Szabo; sister of Katalin and the late Pal, Balazs, Tibor, Ivan, Eugene, Eva and Maria. Survived by nieces, nephews, grandnephews and grandnieces, all in Hungary and the Sisters of Social Service in Buffalo and Worldwide. Friends may call Tuesday May 28th from 2-4 pm at the SISTERS OF SAINT JOSEPH CLARENCE RESIDENCE, 4975 Strickler Rd., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday May 29th at 11am. Flowers gratefully declined, memorials may be made to the Sisters of Saint Joseph. Sister Angela has been a member of the Sisters of Social Service since 1954 and served as the District Moderator from 1991-2000 and again from 2012-2015. One of the last times I spoke to Sister Angela, she asked me to pray for her Happy Death. I pray now that God granted her wish. I also pray for all the Sisters of Social Service who resided with her over the years especially the 3 Sisters who resided with her: Sister Marjory, Sister Maria and Sister Teresina. May God grant you comfort and peace. Amen
