Kent Khoury Obituary

Kent Raymond Khoury

1970 - 2024

Cottonwood Heights, UT- It is with great sorrow we share the news of the sudden passing of our brother Kent Raymond Khoury on January 3, 2024. Kent was born May 31, 1970 to our parents Raymond and Barbara Khoury (also deceased). He graduated from Hillcrest High school in 1988. Kent joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1988. After spending time at NAS in Whidbey Island in WA at an airframe structual school, he received orders in 1989 to Cherry Point NC. He went on to Iwakuni Japan for 6 months. He then reported to Desert Storm until 1991 with an honorable discharge. Kent was a quiet, very loving and caring person who went out of his way to do for those he loved. He has also been known to help veterans cope with their time in the military. Kent has been working at the midvale Home Depot for 15+ years buildindg many friendships that he truly cherished. We would like to thank Home Depot and his high school buddies- all the wonderful friends who have reached out with their work stories, and willingness to help, we appreciate you. Kent is survived by Kevin Khoury, Kathe Khoury Wind, Keeley Khoury Sweeney, John Khoury (Vicki), and Kerrie Silver (Tyler), as well as 10 nieces and nephews.. We are very lucky to have lived this life together with him and will miss Kent for the rest of our lives. Goodbye for now to our little brother, Thanks for all the memories.

Kent my baby Bro, I will miss you when we gather at a family event, at the superbowl parties, the sibling birthday meals etc.. When I think of you I am sure this is not really true. That there is no way you are not here! That I will never hug you again, and those hugs, well they are epic ! We were involved in shenanigans which was always fun.. But I always knew you were here if I needed you, thank you for that. I know you are rejoicing where you are, love to everyone there with you. You will always have a place in my heart, and in my home in the place I will make for your memory. Your sis, Keeley
