It is with profound sadness yet great reverence that we remember the life of Elva Ramirez, a compassionate, dedicated, loving, and resilient woman who passed away on November 13, 2024. Born on May 10, 1937, in Salineno, Texas, Elva blessed us with her presence on this earth for 87 years. During these years, she resided in Heber, California for 70 glorious years, where she was a beacon of love and service to her family. She was a homemaker by profession, but to those who knew her, Elva was so much more. Her work was not merely an occupation; it was an expression of her dedication and love for her family.

Elva was a woman of grace and strength. She was the embodiment of resilience, always facing life's challenges with courage and unwavering faith. Throughout her life, her compassion and love radiated through her home, touching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her dedication to her family was unparalleled. Indeed, to Elva, family mattered most.

Elva is survived by her husband, Daniel Ramirez, who was her rock and partner in life's journey for 72 years. Their love and the life they led were a testament to the power of commitment and dedication. She leaves behind a legacy through her children, Norma (Jim) Groom, Daniel Ramirez Jr. (Rocio), Joe (Maricela) Ramirez, Maria (Andy) Hurtado, Rick Ramirez, and Melissa Ramirez (Henry Sabala); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whose lives she impacted with her love and tender ways. Elva was preceded in death by her parents, Fidencio and Aurora Chapa; her sisters, Aida and Irma; and her son, Robert Ramirez, whom she now joins in eternal rest.

Elva's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. We invite friends and family to share their memories, tell their stories, and join us as we celebrate Elva's life. Services will be held on December 11, 2024, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in El Centro. Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m. and mass will begin at 11 a.m. Graveside services at Evergreen Cemetary immediately after mass. Celebration of life will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Patio Area at 1:30 p.m. These shared moments and tributes will serve as a celebration of a life lived with love and dedication.
