- GARY MICKELSON, born in Heber City UT, July 14, 1940

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a remarkable soul, who departed from this world on October 30, 2023.

Gary was a man whose heart soared both on the ground and in the sky. He was not just an enthusiast; he was a passionate and innovative individual who discovered his joy in the roar of engines and the boundless freedom of flight. His love for cars and flying was not just a personal passion but a contagious energy that he shared with all who had the privilege of knowing him. As he revved up the engines of his cars and soared through the clouds, he taught us the profound beauty of pursuing our passions and embracing the thrilling essence of life. Although he may have taken his final flight, his spirit will forever live on in the sound of a roaring engine and the feeling of the wind beneath our wings. Gary will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Gary is preceded in death by Glen H Mickelson (Father), N Faun Mickelson(Mother), and Eric L Mickelson (Son). He is survived by sister Sharon Wilson, brothers Melvin (Agnes) and Calvin (Karolyn). He is also an Uncle to 8 nieces and nephews and Great Uncle to 7 nieces and nephews.

Farewell, dear friend, brother, and uncle; "Mick the Pilot" was truly one of a kind.

Friends and family are invited to lay Gary to rest at 2:00 pm on November 9, 2023 at Heber City Cemetery located at 680 N. 550 E., Heber City, Utah
