James Freeman Obituary

James Lewis Freeman, 74, of Fort Myers, FL, passed into life with Christ on January 14, 2025. He was born on January 17, 1950, in Woodstock, IL, to parents Harold and Marilynn (Merwin) Freeman. He attended McHenry County College and Illinois State. Jim started his career working for the NW Harold Times in IL working in circulation, eventually he branched out and ran his own video business, documenting many happy occasions, from weddings to birthdays. Jim was full of life and energy; He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, friend and neighbor. He enjoyed staying active in both mind and body; Jim was a wealth of knowledge and had a massive fossil collection that was donated to McHenry County College when he decided to downsize, just a little. He is survived by his loving Wife, Patricia Freeman; Daughter, Robyn (Brian) Kimball; Son, James Freeman; Four Grandchildren; Five Great Grandchildren and one on the way; Sister, Joanne (Dwight) Warczak, as well as many other loving friends and family members.
