TAYLOR, Peter Harold:
Aged 69. It is with sadness that Pete passed away 22 January 2022 after a jolly good fight. Dearly loved husband, best mate, friend to Mouse, life coach and devoted Dad and Grandad to Sam and Arna, Lilly, Alia and Bella, Ben and Carmen and Jack and Ellette, with one on the way. At Pete's request, a private gathering will be held at a date and time to be confirmed. Mouse and family would like to give sincere thanks to the Oncology Department of Palmerston North Hospital and Arohanui Hospice for their outstanding care and support. Donations to the Arohanui Hospice would be greatly appreciated.

Though we only met Peter occasionally, each time was a high point - he was the sort of person who inspired others to strive for excellence. Memories of him will remain with us, and we pray that they will also be helpful for you, Mary Jane, and your family as you face your loss.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Peters passing....great man and I will always appreciate the time and commitment he put into coaching my son during his cricket years...he was a genuine all round good guy. I have always remembered him coming off the pitch for a well earned cuppa and some home baking made by the lovely Mary Jane....actually a few of us got those treats. My condolences to you all....kind regards Sue Barnett.

Dear MJ and family
I am deeply saddened by the passing of my good friend PT. I apologise for not attending the celebration of Peter´s life with you all tomorrow. I have spent the week fly fishing in the Lake Hawea region and PT has been on my mind continuously. I will be with you tomorrow in spirit... I trust PT will forgive me.
Very best wishes to you all
