Thinking of Molly's family at this time. She was a true matriarch. Our mum Heather often talks about the parties held at the Opiki homestead and Molly's outfits. Many years of Te Puna road neighbours. Annual rodeos were a highlight. Driving the trucks in early to get prime places. Standing at the gate, watching the horses passing. Getting the best fishing spot on the Manawatu River. Times never forgotten.

Dearest Molly has been such supporter of the young people our Foundation assists that we would like to recognise this by setting up a scholarship in Molly's name. Our visits to Molly we're always hugely entertaining and we will remember her always.

Akers family- My thoughts are with you all. Molly was a lovely caring lady. I will cherish the memories held of the very happy times we had over many years being involved with the Manawatu A & P Association.
Kind regards
