Of Julia Wallace Village, Palmerston North; formerly of Raumati South. On Wednesday, 17 February 2021, peacefully after a long illness. Aged 75 years. Beloved husband and best friend of the late Liz. Treasured Dad and favourite father-in-law of Anna & Andrew, and Nikki & Mark, and Grandpa of Ben, Lizzie and the Animals. Loved brother of Tom (Israel) and cousin of Gay. Thanks to the staff and carers at Julia Wallace for their kind and compassionate care of John throughout his time there. A celebration of John's life will be held at Kapiti Coast Funeral Home Chapel, 9–11 Hinemoa St, Paraparaumu, at 10.30am on Monday, 22 February, followed by burial at Awa Tapu Cemetery.
