Mum passed away peacefully at Arohanui Hospice on Sunday, 29 June 2025, aged 89 years. Loving wife of the late John, loved mum and mother-in-law of Pauline and Brandon, Sarah, and Rowena. Adored Grandmother to Deaglan, Reuben, and Mollie. Mum was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Mum showed her beautiful self, by thanking everybody, right until the end. An enormous thanks from Pauline and Rowena to all the friends who wrapped us in such love and care during her final journey and everlasting gratitude to the staff and volunteers at Arohanui Hospice. A service for Yvonne will be held at Cotton's chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Friday, 4 July, at 1.00pm. Messages for Yvonne's family can be left via robertjcotton.co.nz/funerals. In lieu of flowers, donations to Arohanui Hospice would be appreciated.
