Yvonne (née Woodhouse):
Passed away peacefully at Riverstone Rest Home on Friday, 26th November 2021, aged 76 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Ken McEwen. Mother of Jacqui Loveridge, Deidre McEwen and Laureen King. Grandmother of Rebecca & Joshua Loveridge, and Elleanor King. Loved sister of Thelma & Jim, Shirley & Peter & Bruce, Maureen & Jim, Alan & Pat, Mary & Barry, Robert & Christine, Kevin & Sandy. Loved Aunt of all her nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate the life of Yvonne will be held at The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, on Thursday 2nd December at 1.30pm. We would like to thank all the staff at Riverstone Rest Home for their loving care of Yvonne in her final days. A special thank you to Christine Woodhouse for all your kindness to Yvonne, your support and care made Yvonne's life much easier these past few years. You were her advocate and her best friend. Memories are flooding my mind. So many good times. We were such good friends in Singapore, we did everything together getting ourselves into places other Europeans didn´t go. We had many good times on the golf course and too many laughs to count. Our kids were like one big family at one stage. I hated seeing you suffer with the Rhuematoid and I am glad you are free of pain now. Sadly missed. See you soon. Love your big sister Maureen

Yvonne, May God grant you rest until His glorious second coming when we will meet again. It will be a day I will look forward to! I will miss you. You have suffered in this life but will wake to a new, perfect body and there will be no more pain or tears. God has you in His right hand. Sleep my dear until we meet again!
