KARATAU, William Matiaha:
Of Turakina. Passed away peacefully at Whanganui Hospital, surrounded with love, on Sunday 31 October 2021. Aged 87 years. Loved husband of the late Moreen. Loved Dad of Ross and Julie, Gail and Stu, Kim and Gerard, Perry and Shelley. Loved Grandad of all his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great- great-grandchildren. Loved brother and uncle of many. In lieu of flowers, a donation made to the Cancer Society would be appreciated and can be left in the chapel foyer. Messages to the Karatau family, C/- 167 John F Kennedy Dr, Palmerston North, or to www.beauchamp.co.nz/tributes/. A celebration of William's life will be held at the Beauchamp Crematorium Chapel, 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston North, on Thursday 4 November 2021 at 11.00am, followed by a private cremation. Due to current COVID restrictions and a large immediate family we are close to capacity.
