William Niwhai (Bill):
Passed away peacefully on Monday 13 June 2022, with family by his side, after a short illness. Loved son of Jos and the late Bob. Cherished brother of Sue. Father of Katie, and grandfather of Hayley, Melanie, and Bradley. Loved uncle of Ritchi and Marlynda, and Leana. Great-uncle of Talia, Narissa, Tayla, Te Aihe, Kaea, and Te Keira. A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held in The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy St, Palmerston North, on Thursday 16 June at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation.

Wow what a great legacy Bill, thank you for your support, it was great to have your WINZ expertise which helped me help the older people I work with. Great knowledge and care for people. I can only feel that your love and kindness can only live on in the effect it has had on others thank you

I am so sorry to hear about Bill. He was a great guy and would always be there if you needed help in any way. He will be missed by all his friends and family.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. He was my case worker at WINZ and we had become pals as well. I will never forget his kindness and the great chats we used to have. He was a big man when I first knew him and he's still a big and great man in my eyes.
