Dear Philippa and family

My deepest sympathy on Wayne's sudden passing. Vicki, Wayne and you were a great support to me during my time as a sole practitioner and he will be missed. I particularly remember his cheery visit to offer support in the week following the 2004 floods.

Dearest Pip, Chris and Ashleigh. It is with such sadness that I have only just discovered the news of Waynes passing. He was such a wonderful man who both the parents and children of the Ruahine soccer club had a great report with. Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time.

Your love for each other is an example to us all. One of the good guys taken far too soon. Sending our love to you all.

Wayne was the friendly "human face" of the IRD and will be so sadly missed by us all. Wayne was always such a positive person who went out of his way to help us in any way he could and worked so hard at building relationships with his tax agents.
We will always remember Wayne for his integrity, his love for his dear "Pip" & family (and his stockcars!) - and for his wonderful warmth and respect for others.
May you rest in Peace dear Wayne.

I endorse all comments made at the funeral. Wayne was one of the best - a loyal and ever helpful and knowledgeable workmate, a great sportsman and above all a great family man so regarded by all. The world is a sadder place without you. RIP mate.

Right from the first day I met Wayne I could tell he was the standard of a Public Servant that all other Public Servants should try to attain. That thought never wavered 20 years on. You have left us earlier than expected but your standards will remain.

Wayne was my work rock and my constant and I am heart broken and feel so lost. Even finding myself writing this is so surreal and I keep thinking this is not happening. You always had the right words and you were so grounded when I wasn't. We have shared many memories and each others family milestones and I will miss this. It has been one hell of a ride my dear friend but now its time for you to be with your dear mum who I know you missed so much. Fly free buddy.

It was a huge shock when I received the message about Wayne's death. Our hearts and thoughts go out to you all.
I have worked with Wayne for many years with a large number of those with him as our account manager, I was half expecting him to phone me shortly telling me to hurry up and get our filing percentages up. He was always so happy to help and was a pleasure to work with. Unfortunately I wont be able to make it Wednesday, but he will be well cared for by the team at Beauchamp.

Unbelievable!Wayne and I had a great working relationship and I often still think of him and the drink we never had at Whangamomana.He was always super helpful and looked after my AAM transition to IRD Tauranga,who rang me with the news this morning.Cannot make it on Wednesday but our thoughts will be with you all.He was one of the best.
