Vivien HALIBURTON Obituary

On 24 October 2024 Peacefully at Malvina Major Retirement Home, aged 91 years. Wife of the late Keith David Haliburton. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Sue and Graham Wiles, David and Regan (deceased). Much loved grandmother of Stuart, Robert and Richard Wiles and Zach Haliburton. Loved Great-Nana Viv to Aurora, Mason, Alex, Tommy and Tilly. Special thanks to the staff at Malvina Major for making the 18 years Mum lived there so enjoyable and also the hospital wing staff for their care and attention to make Mum's final week so comfortable. Your support and compassion has been greatly appreciated. Messages to the Wiles/Haliburton family may be left in Viv's tribute book at www.tributes.co.nz or sent to [email protected]. Cards may be posted c/- 4 Moorefield Road, Johnsonville, Wellington 6037. Viv's memorial service will be held at the Guardian Funeral Home Chapel, 4 Moorefield Road, Johnsonville on Thursday, 31 October 2024 at 2.00pm. A private cremation is to be held prior to the service.

Thinking of you all at this sad time with the passing of your Mother Viv.
I knew Viv from working at ANZ Bank in Johnsonville but latterly met up with her Heather and Marie for lunches. Viv was a lovely lady and was always dressed so elegantly. I no longer live in Wellington and unfortunately I will not be able to attend her memorial service. Will be thinking of you all on Thursday. Take care. With lots of love to you all.

Sue, Graham and David and Family
Was very sorry to learn of the passing of Viv and I want to pass onto you my sincere condolences.
From the very first time I met her (1968) I enjoyed her company immensley. She was a lady of kindness and thoughtfulness and we had lots of laughs together as well over many years.
Viv put everything she had into her life and made the most of it
I will be thinking of you all on Thursday afternoon when you say your farewells to a wonderful Mother, grandmother and great grandmother
