Vincent KAYE Obituary

KAYE, Vincent Foster (Vince) – Regt. No. 064030 WOII, of Levin. - Passed away peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday April 20, 2013. Dearly loved husband and soul mate of Edna for 67 years. Dearly loved father and father in law of Noeline, Brian and Patricia, Wayne and Debra, Christine and Tony Ashdown and Lorraine and John Levy (Napier). Loving Grandad of all his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. A celebration of Vince's life will be held at The Levin RSA, 32 Bristol Street, on Wednesday April 24, 2013 at 1.00pm with private cremation to follow at The Avenue Crematorium, Levin. In lieu of flowers donations to St. John Ambulance would be appreciated and can be left at the service. Messages C/- 547 Queen St. East, Levin. A special thanks to St. John Ambulance and to the staff of Palmerston North Hospital for their care of Vince.

As I continue life without you Grandad, the only thing that stops the tears from falling...is the thought of knowing you now will be resting easy, in no pain and looking over us all.
I'm thank full you told me how proud you where of me with my achievements living back home. Thank you for telling me I had made the right choice to spend more time with my children... "they are only young once" you said.
