Vicki WALSH Obituary
(née Foley, Bennett):
Hey, I finally did it! I popped off to Heaven on Monday 5th April 2021, aged 53. I've gone to be with my Maker and to celebrate with my family members who arrived before me; my big brother Steve (Stephen Foley, 1981), my dad (Michael Foley, 1989), and my mum (Yvonne Groves – née Cable (Keable), Foley, 2009). I will be looking over those I leave behind; my adored husband, soulmate & absolute hero Dave (Walsh). My proudest achievements my incredible, amazing and dearly loved children, daughter Asti (Bennett), and son Kurt (Bennett). My beautiful grandbabies, Eden, Grayson, Van, Asher, Olivia, and Emma, and their amazing parents, Nathan and Hannah (Mooney), and, Anthony and Angela (Walsh), plus my stepsons Simon & Alexander. My service will be held at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Broadway Ave, Palmerston North, on Friday 9th April 2021 at 1.00pm, followed immediately by my interment at Kelvin Grove Cemetery. Although untraditional, my unveiling will also occur immediately following my interment, followed by refreshments back at the Tokomaru RSA & Country Club. This journey, 'weirdly' has been a blessing as well as a challenge, and there will never be enough words to express my gratitude for the kindness, understanding and love so many of you have shown. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. See you in Heaven where I will be Rocking In Paradise. Bless my heart, see you when you get there.With love, Vicki. So sorry to read of Vicki's passing.
I went to school with Vicki and vividly remember her bright smile and bubbly personality.
It looks like she, and the family, have had a long journey with her illness.

RIP beautiful lady. A well deserved rest. Finally you got to go home to your maker and your loved ones that already passed. You used to say you couldn't wait to see your mum and brother again. I remember the lighters. So many trips from Foxton Beach to Tokomaru to return them only to find I had yet again left with them. Fly high beautiful angel. You will be sadly missed by all who loved you

Dearest Vicki. You were such an inspiration to all that knew you. I was so proud to have you watch Briar enter this world. She also took your name. Wow that was 35 years ago. I know you had opened arms for when your time on earth was done. Had to laugh when you said your bags were packed. It was an honour to know you and your beautiful mum. Sending love and prayers to Dave Kurt and Asti and all her family and friends. Fly high my friend. Till we meet again.
