To all of Veronica's family. I remember Veronica as an enthusiastic and hard working member of the Rose Gardens Croquet Club. Her enthusiasm for the game saw her often coaching others; often there were delays in our Business House games as dear Veronica attempted to make champions out of players in their first season. She was a regular on club days, attended working bees, and was an almost permanent assistant in the kitchen during tournaments.
She and Rex proudly talked of their family and loved to introduce them to us when they could drag them to the lawns. Harlan was a regular and they did endeavored to instill in him,and other young players, the love they had of the game.
All my regards to you all as you fill the gap of lost parents with lots of happy memories. Melva Jones
