Vernon & Pat we´re always welcoming to us when we visited . There were always biscuits.A close and loving family we envied . I remember the abundant vege garden , the clothes rack hanging from the ceiling and the toilet flush - was it a pull chain one ? Nana and Pat will be thrilled to have him with them again . Lovely memories of a lovely man .

I am writing to acknowledge Vern as a lifeline to our family as Dorothy´s the mechanical advisor. I remember his game of pass the car part in a paper bag - to be guessed by feel and weight. while the game was heavily weighted for Vern to win he left it to us to guess. His support was greatly appreciated with the love and support Pat provided for Dorothy in particular and all our family.

I'm not sure but I believe Vernon may have been involved with Birthright many years ago. If so my family was grateful to him for his many kindnesses and that he always seemed happy to help arrange holidays and activities for us. My condolences for your loss and I hope you have many happy memories.
