Vernon GLEDSTONE-BROWN Obituary

Passed away peacefully and surrounded by love on Friday 13 February 2026, aged 78 years. Beloved husband and soulmate of Norma. Treasured Dad and father-in-law of Jennifer and Peter Wilson, Stephanie and Stefan, Rochelle and Owen Lingard, Campbell and Lynne. Cherished Grandpa to Sarah, and Bianca; Tara, and Amber; Hamish, and Callum. Messages for Vernon's family may be left via robertjcotton.co.nz/funerals. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of Palmerston North Hospital CCU and Ward 27 for their dedicated care and support. In lieu of flowers, donations to St John Ambulance via stjohn.org.nz would be much appreciated.

A service to celebrate Vernon's life will be held in the St John's Anglican Church, 16 Camden Street, Feilding, on Wednesday 18 February 2026, at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation.

Norma - We have wonderful memories of the joy Vernon and you demonstrated as you danced together! We envied your enthusiasm in spite of heat and the lateness of the hour!
