Trina COLE Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Trina Michelle Cole (née Signal) - a funny, kind, strong, brave and deeply loving wife, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many. Born to her loving parents Ailsa and Peter Signal, Treen grew up sharing a close bond with her beautiful twin Kirsty and older sister Leigh. She married Brendon Cole, building a life defined by companionship, their hard work, deep love and mutual respect. Treen was also a cherished sister in law to Mark and Mathew, much loved Aunty Beans to Molly, Fliss, Emma, and Sammy, and treasured member of the Cole family. Her farm was her sanctuary, a place where she felt most herself, surrounded by the dogs she loved and adored. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness. Though she was taken too soon, the love she gave continues to shine in every person and place she touched. Trina will be dearly missed, lovingly remembered, and held forever in the hearts of those blessed to have known her. Friends are invited to attend a memorial service for Treen at Orlando Country Estate, 748 Rangitikei Line, Palmerston North, on Saturday 3rd January 2026 at 2pm. The service will also be livestreamed. To bring Treen and Bren together forevermore, their ashes will be scattered together in a private family ceremony over the land they loved.

Pete & Ailsa no words can describe the loss you will both be feeling after the tragic loss of your much loved Treen. Although I did not know Treen, the beautiful tribute you have written has bought tears to my eyes. May she rest in love. Our deepest condolences to both of you & the rest of your family.
