I met Craig in 2006 when he became Principal of Whareui School. A very kind man who always backed up his staff and led the school for 5 years. Remembering all the whanau today.

I was very sad to read of Craig´s passing.
I knew Craig at Teachers College where he was in my group. Over the 3 years we associated together and then our teaching journeys took us in different directions.
Some years later we met up again camping at Leithfield Beach Camp. There were many conversations reminiscing the years gone by.
Hold onto your memories and let them guide you during this time of sadness.

To Catherine and family we are sorry for your loss. Craig has gone too soon.
I have fond memories of Craig over 54 years as a fellow student at teachers college, teacher and principal at Wharenui School and neighbouring camper at Leithfield Beach Holiday Park.
In recent times we really enjoyed catching up with Craig at the beach when he shared his latest adventures finding rocks and gems from Leithfield Beach and from his travels around the world. We always were learning something about the history of his finds.
He was a warm , friendly person and a great communicator and will be hugely missed by his family and the many people who knew him through his community and lapidary connections.
