Anna Moreno Obituary

Anna Marie Moreno of San Marcos, Texas, walked gracefully into the arms of her Savior on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the age of 81. Born on September 20, 1942 in Fargo, North Dakota, Anna was a beacon of love and warmth to all who had the blessing to know her.

Anna's early years in San Marcos laid the foundation for a life of dedication and service. She met and married the love of her life, Albert Moreno Sr. on October 19, 1960. Together they built a family that became her pride and joy. Their children, Mary Perez and her husband Martin, Albert Moreno Jr. and his wife Denise, Melissa Moreno and her significant companion, Robert Samaniego, John Moreno, Chris Moreno and his wife Michelle, Beatrice Moreno and her significant companion Albert P. Sierra, were blessed to call her mother. Though her daughter Sandra Lynn Moreno had gone before her, Anna's legacy continued to flourish through her fifteen grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren, each a testament to her boundless love.

Visitation is Wednesday, July 17 from 4 to 7 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., at Thomason Funeral Home in San Marcos. Services are Thursday, July 18 with a noon Mass at Saint John's Catholic Church in San Marcos, followed by interment at Guadalupe Cemetery, located on Post Road.
