RIP Uncle Terry, my thoughts of those child hood years, trips to Wanganui, Mansfield, the Porter Motors Christmas parties that you brought us kids along too. The last being the Traction Engine club that we would spend hours on a Sunday arvo at while you all pontificated about the mechanical problems, while all we wanted was for someone to start one up so we could go for a ride.
With the years passing, people tend to forget what a big part of your life someone has been, and the memories of Wellington Street and having breakfast with you Nanna, Uncle Larry and Aunty Mag very much in my mind.
Best wishes to my parents and siblings and Uncle Peter, I wish I could be there Wednesday.
