Terence HAMMOND Obituary
Terence Henry (Terry):
Of Marton. Passed away at home, surrounded by love, on 17th May 2023. Aged 78 years. Deeply loved and treasured husband of Lyn. Loved and respected Dad and father-in-law of Donna and Tony, and Tony and Jody. Much loved grandad of Josh. A loved cousin, uncle and friend. We would like to thank Dr Mike O' Grady, Andrea Dempsey and the nursing staff at the Wanganui Hospital, Dr Richard Isaacs and his registrars, the Oncology staff at Palmerston North Hospital, Dr Dave Baldwin, Bulls Medical Center, the team at Arohanui Hospice Palmerston North, Kathy Turner and the district nurses for all your wonderful care of Terry. The huge gap Terry has left in our lives can never be replaced. Friends are invited to attend a service for Terry at St Stephen's Anglican Church, Maunder Street, Marton, on Monday May 22nd 2023 at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. There will be a livestream which can be viewed at www.beauchamp.co.nz/webcast/remote

To Lyn and family
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Terry's passing. I well remember the great times we shared as kids growing up and the pranks we pulled on each other ( and others!! ) They were special times and I feel richer to have been able to share my time and memories with him.
Please accept my love and kind wishes to you and all the family. I regret that I will not be able to make it to the funeral as I have a hospital appointment but will be thinking of you all.

I have fond memories of Terry growing up in Marton. & my early days at Rugby with Dad ( Peter ) Our girls loved getting new bikes from you when we moved to Marton late 2016 .
