To all the Slade family ,many of you I went to school with John, Margaret, in Marton , and I remember your Mum immaculate blonde hair always nice and my sister Alison had her first after school job working in your fish and chip shop back in the day , Great memories of those fish and chips our family treat on a Satuday night
She was an amazing age you will have so many lovely memories

I will always remember how softly-spoken and kind you were, so proud of your garden and your floral art, and how well dressed you always were with perfect hair, just so. Well done on reaching an incredible century of life, and thank you for leaving such lovely memories behind for everyone who knew you.

My condolences to all of Sylvia's family, I was a neighbour from straight across the road on Follett Street and have many fond memories of exploring the Slade's garden as a child , Mrs Slades kindness and her love of flowers.
