Sue was one of my parents fantastic friend group that we were surrounded with as young children. Dad, Colin Aiken passed in 2017 and Hannah is still active but dealing with the mid stages of dementia.
My sister Suzy just wrote
Oh I have such strong memories of Sue.And ,I smiled when I read the words "Boss Lady" in her obituary, because to a young girl ( as I was when I spent the the most time with her) she was "fierce" but in a nice way, very much the Boss!
A kind heart and a lovely person.Xx
I remember her as being strong minded and capable of doing everything for herself, and so full of knowledge.I have the image in my mind of her home with the wall of books.
May the trees that get planted in Sues memory bring a place of peace for others

Sorry sorry to hear of Mrs Hall´s passing. For many years we lived in the same little cul-de-sac and I grew up with her as an awesome neighbour. Later on when I did shows she would often come and see them. When I was home to do `Cats´ she sent me a lovely letter with a tape of T.S. Elliot reading his poems. My thoughts are with her family and friends and those who knew her from St Albans Ave.

Thinking of your family at this sad time. Sue, I came to Palmerston North 20yrs ago and plunged into that Lido aquarobics class alongside you. You were one of our matriarch and one exceptional lady. Thankyou for the journey.
