So shocked to hear of Sue's passing. Have a funny memory to share - we picked her up for a meeting and she told us how she'd been to a dance in the last week and that she shaked her booty! We three just laughed and laughed together. She loved you boys - may the Lord be a comfort to you. Much love

Hey John and Aaron.
Really sorry to hear about your mum.
She was a very lovely lady and in my memories of her she was always smiling. I can't imagine what you're both going through right now, I wish you both the best through this tough time.

Colossi ans 1;27-29.
To whom(Susan)God willed to make known, what are the riches of the glory of his mystery among the nations, which is Christ in you(Susan) the hope of glory:
Whom we (Susan) announce, warning every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man full grown in Christ;
For also which I labor, struggling according to his operation which operates in me (Susan)in power.
Susan loved the Lord, she was opened to the will of God, God's riches where made known to her, no longer a mystery, Susan parted us with this Christ, that one day this Christ in Susan, at the Lords coming back will be Glorified in (Susan) Hallelujah. What a wonderful testimony our Sister Susan gives to us, that this hope may also be our hope.
I never forget the times we had together, picnics, fellowship.golf, and the labor of giving me two wonderful sons, whom where both loyal at their mothers side.
God bless us all,
Rest in Peace.

I'd like to recall two qualities that Sue had in abundance, qualities which all of us aspire to...
1. The first of these was Sue's sincere Love for family and Friends...
Sue really did take a genuine interest in people... & she loved to share their life stories & celebrate their successes....she just loved to tell stories.
This was of course helped by Sue's outstanding memory. Sue had an outstanding ability to remember people's names and the events surrounding them...in fact Sue could recall, the dates, the venue and all the other people present of significant events in people's lives far better than most people could remember the event themselves!!
Certainly The Adeane family came to rely on Sue to help us with our poor memories. With Sue's passing, this is something our family will miss will & I'm sure going forward Sue will be looking down at us from heaven, having a giggle at our feeble efforts to recall what is obvious to her...
2. Secondly, Sue just loved to Have Fun.
In particularly games, & certainly when there was little bit of competition...For example Sue loved a good game of cards..... now our Dad regarded himself as quite sharp when it came to playing 500, and time and again Sue would confound him by her “unconventional tactics”, often destroying his logical strategy & with Sue managing to win a trick completely out of left field. She would scream with delight at Dad's incomprehension on how on earth that happened...
Many of us will cherish the memories of Sue on the mini golf courses that a number of families had developed around their Palmerston North homes, including “The Adeane's Links” at Leigh Place. Every year on Waitangi Day, 6th February, we had THE big event of the year. I believe this continued for 38 years and participant numbers peaked at something like 60-70 people. We would trundle around the 5-6 different courses at different homes during the day. At the end the day we would celebrate with a BBQ dinner and the awards ceremony. Whilst everybody knows the aim of golf is to complete the rounds with the lowest number of shots, the best prize was always reserved to the player who had played the “most golf” on the day. Well Sue certainly had a strangle hold on this particular prize.. and I can fondly remember her laughs & delight when stepping up to receive her prize, year after year!!
So Sue, I will always remember you for your love of fun, .. and your love of friends and family.
God bless and rest in peace.
