DEEPEST CONDOLENCES

The world
became a lesser place
when the hands of time
fell silent
& heaven's vault
welcomed home
an angel lent
May God's
all-encompassing love
comfort you
in benevolent embrace

Dear Whanau, sending hugs and Aroha
Stu was a very special person and a big part of our West End Kindergarten community. We have many fond memories of his care and contribution to our kindergarten. He supported our wheel a thons, helped with our potato harvest and then cooked them 4 ways for children and families to enjoy. He guided our sustainable Enviroschools journey making yogurt and toppings and donating tin cans for us to up-cycle. He created a special kindy fundraiser as he provided a `first class chef´ aka Stu Mortersen - and the lucky raffle ticket winner experience `fine dining´ within their home setting. We shared many laughs and fun times during kindy events, not to mention riding on the Palmy Xmas Float parades. We were fortunate to have the Mortensen family join our Kindergarten whanau and together we created many fun events and special memories. We are so so saddened by Stu´s passing. Take care

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the wind be always at your back.

May the sun shine warm upon your face;

the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again,

may God hold you in the palm of His hand.
