Much loved husband of Katherine, and proud father of Elizabeth, Robert and Thomas. Beloved son of Michael (dec) and Barbara Stannard, and devoted brother to Gillian, Jeannette, Penny and Felicity. Friend and mentor to many on both sides of the Tasman. Stephen's funeral will be held at 11.00am (Sydney time) on Tuesday 9th September. My condolences to Katherine and family at the passing of a friend and academic colleague. I knew of Steve from colleagues at Sydney University and strongly encouraged him to accept our offer of a position at Massey. Our consequent research together was a source of pride to us both. Assisting Steve and Robert respond to difficulties with statistical interpretations of blood sampling and testing is a more recent connection. Rest in Peace Steve.
