Vicki, you probably won´t remember me, Joy Artner.. previously Joy Hancock.. I´ve lived in the USA for over 30 years now & have just learned of Steve´s death I´m so sorry to hear about this... we all crossed paths at weddings, where he played piano & you sang.. I was taking photographs ...Mack the knife was a great favorite.. I can´t hear it but think of Steve.. He was always so helpful with my early travel arrangements.. such a lovely gentle, gentleman, wonderful sense of humor...
I lost my long time love nearly 7 years ago.. so can relate.
Best.

Vicky, John and Michael,
It was with great sadness to get the news that Steve had died. Steve was such a fun guy to be around. He could relate to anyone. We remember him fondly from the Hokowhitu school days, and more recently for me with the PNBHS travel organisation and functions. Such a talented all rounder with a great sense of humor. He will be terribly missed by you all. Sincere condolences.
