Shirley POTTS Obituary
On November 2, 2021, peacefully at Arohanui Hospice surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife of the late Bryan. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Maxine and Brandon Climo; Nick and Bex and adored Nana of Alex, and Kieran; and Charlie. Loved daughter of the late Allan Griffin; Grace (deceased) and Mike Barnes; and a loved sister of Tony, Jenny, and Bernie and a loved aunt of all her nieces and nephews, and loved by her extended family. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Arohanui Hospice would be appreciated and may be left in the Chapel foyer. Due to Covid restrictions a Private Service for Shirley will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021, at 2.00pm. When I use to have a sleep over at Maxine's house we would giggle all night long and Aunty Shirley would tell us off numerous times, but she would still have me stay over other night as well, One of my Fondest Memories as a kid having Ice Cream soda and playing on the Trampoline, loved staying at Aunty Shirley's to be with my Cousin Maxine was so Grateful that

With great sadness I read of Shirleys passing. As the tears fall I remember with great fondness a tremendous, strong, patient, loving lady. Many memories which will stay with me. You took me under your wing as a young man, always remembering the important days. You'll always be in my thoughts and my heart ,always. My thoughts are with Maxine, Nick and family at this difficult time.
May you rest in peace and walk through sunshine each day you lovely lady. Now in the arms of the angels.
Your son from another mother will never forget you.
