Shirley FISHER Obituary
Of Palmerston North. On Tuesday 14th July 2015 (peacefully) at Ranfurly Rest Home, Feilding. In her 88th Year. Dearly loved wife of the late Jack. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Stephen and Tess, Jane and Alan (deceased), Prudence and Don, Kathleen, John and Cathy, Nicholas, and Joanna and Paul. Cherished Grandma of her 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Loved sister of Lois, Donald (deceased), Richard, and John, and sister-in-law of Shirley Hutt. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to HELP, PO Box 10345, Dominion Road, Auckland 1446, or may be left in Church foyer. Messages to the Fisher family, c/- PO Box 5191, Palmerston North 4441. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Shamrock Street, Palmerston North, on Friday 17th July 2015, at 11:30am. Followed by private cremation.

My thoughts and condolences go out to the Fisher family. I first met Shirley - or Miss Ryan as she was known then, a primary teacher at Central School when I was in primer 2. In later years our paths crossed when Jack and Shirley bought the dairy in Featherston St from us and I continued to work in the dairy with Shirley. A lot of good memories.
