Shirley CAMERON Obituary

Passed away on Friday 7th March 2025. A strong, inspirational woman who faced her journey with courage. Dearly loved mother of Chanel and Christian, mother-in-law of Gareth, and special friend of Bethany. Treasured sister of Sandra, sister-in-law of Mark, aunty of Rochelle and partner David, great-aunty of Riley and puppy gran of Nella. Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Arohanui Hospice for their incredible care and support. For many years, I had the privilege of visiting Shirley at her business, Astoria on George Street, where she altered my clothes with absolutle perfection. Her incredible talent shone even brighter when she designed and created our daughter's stunning ball gowns. Beyond her exception skill she was beautiful and elegant soul, always greeting you with a radiant smile. My condolences to Channel, Christian and all of Shirley's family. RIP

Shirley was an inspiration and I really enjoyed buying cloths off her.she was very talented at altering garments to fit me she always had a smile a d a positive outlook.
Very sad she has passed.
