I am deeply saddened to hear about Sharon´s passing. While I didn´t know her well, in the time I did spend with her, I could tell she was a deeply caring, loving, and thoughtful person. Her kindness and warmth left a lasting impression on me.
She raised four strong and independent daughters, a true testament to the incredible woman she was. I know she was also the most amazing grandmother, and her love and influence will continue to live on through her family.
My thoughts and deepest sympathies are with her family during this difficult time.

Condolences to Sharon's family. Sharon was emmensly proud of her girls. It was a privilege to have been her colleague we worked together on several occasions mainly CCU Palmerston North Hospital. Very skilled and knowledgeable nurse. And as so many have said Sharon's was fun. Sharon was also a very caring and successful Charge Nurse of The Children's Ward before she had her own family. I will treasure my memories of Sharon. Be at peace.

I knew Sharon as Night Coordinator at Palmerston North Hospital. Early in the shift we´d receive a phone call that always ended with `call me if you need me´. And a few times over the years we really did need her and Sharon always delivered in spades. Will always be gratefult for her competent, decisive, caring support. She was an exceptional nurse.
Loved to hear about her daughters - I remember stories involving horses and dancing.
The last time I saw Sharon was when I visited someone at Chiswick Park. Sharon was on duty and as cheerful as usual she said she was `loving it´.
Thank you for your support and many lovely chats Sharon.

Sharon and I started our nursing training in the same class. We went our different ways. I have always remembered her as a very kind, bright and happy girl from days gone by. The tributes I have read here resonate with that. She was highly respected and well loved by all.
My thoughts and heartfelt condolences go to her family, who will miss her beyond words, her good friends and her colleagues.

Sharon was always a supportive presence on night duty in her role as DNM, and there was always time for a chat. We all knew she was available on her pager number - the three two niner.
Her sense of humour and caring professional manner were missed after she left.
I also knew Sharon thru dancing as Laura and Rebekah danced with Kathryn.
Her cheerful nature was always there at exam and production time. She was proud of her family always.
She will be so missed by her family and those that knew her.

Sharon was a one in a million nurse. She was kind and caring and would do anything to help out the nurses when it was busy in ED.
I missed her humour and hearing all about her girls, what they were up to or what she was doing in her spare time after she left.
You should be proud of your mum she was a special person and will be missed by all who knew her.

My sincere condolences to Sharon's family. I worked with Sharon in CCU. She was a kind, caring and capable nurse and a great work colleague who gave a substantial part of her life to her long nursing career. I also had the great pleasure of knowing Sharon the ballet mum as my daughter, Hannah, was in the same ballet class as Rebekah for many years. It was always a pleasure to see Sharon and it was clear she had a great passion for her family. I loved the way she supported her daughters in what they wanted to do and the humour she added to dancing events when others were stressed. I know she will be greatly missed.

When I was a student many years ago my sister and I had the honor or babysitting for Sharon when she worked nights. We used to fight over the shift as Sharon was so lovely. The kids were asleep when we arrived, she made us a platter to eat while we studied and cooked as a full breakfast when she got home. She loved her girls so much.
