Rest easy, Shane.

You were a top man. You didn´t have to help me, but you did. You believed in me, backed me, and taught me so much.. more than you probably realised.

I´ll always appreciate that.

Our thoughts are with you all at this very sad time

I would like to send my condolences to Shane's family. I remember him from the days my day use to take his dad's calves and rear them on our land for about six weeks at a time. We had quite a bit to do with the family when they where in Watershed Road. We would have been about 11 years old. Thoughts are with you all.

I'm shocked & very very sad to read this morning of Shane's passing. If only I had known we would certainly have been at Kaingara on 28th. Reading the many tributes to Shane on this site I feel it's all be said so eloquently by so many. Sincere sympathy to you Jill & your family. It was an absolute pleasure to have known Shane

Sad news Jilly... I watched Shane´s service and was greatly moved by the families tributes. Honest, unaffected and deeply moving.

Shane will be missed he was an inspirational leader. I always enjoyed our conversations. Colspec is in good hands with Hamish at the helm.

It was a pleasure to call on Shane and his team when tenders were closing on Commercial or housing contracts over the many years.slncere condolences to Jill and family.

Shane contributed a huge amount to construction in general but especially in the Manawatu. He was a selfless mentor to myself, along with many others in the area, throughout my whole building career and the legacy of his knowledge will be passed on through Hamish. I speak on behalf of the entire construction community sending our sympathy and thoughts at this time.

Shane (and Jill) were part of the Colyton Tennis Club, many years ago when we were all much younger. I remember him as a man who was always friendly, a genuine person who was interested in what was happening - a great member of the local community!

Sending much love to all of the family, you'll all be very sad, and you'll miss him. Enjoy the memories.

Jill and family our deepest condolences. Shane was a hard worker, husband, family man. I got to work alongside Shane on the Board of Trustees when our kids were at school together. He always had the kids and schools interests at heart. He will be sorely missed by all that knew him. May you now rest in peace Shane.
