Sandra Dole Obituary

Sandra Marie (Foster) Dole, age 79 of Manistee, Michigan, died Thursday, June 13, 2024 at her home in Manistee. She was born on March 24, 1945 in Ludington, Michigan and was the daughter of the late Roland and Valentine (Sielski) Foster.

She is survived by her daughter, Penny (Graig Walle) Haik, two sons, Terry Best and Jeff (Marie Cole) Best, her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Matt) Detzler, Nikki (Brandon) Stewart, Bryan Haik, Kaitlyn (Caleb) Newlin,  Ashley (Evan) Bauman, Jamie Best, Mandi Best, Breanna Best, Jeremiah (Kaelee) Best, Jacob Best, and Caleb Best, her life partner, Richard Strandberg, special friend, Julie Lanson Hart, her brother George (Marcella) Foster, her sister Genevieve Zwinger, and her sister in-law, Pat Foster. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roland and Valentine (Sielski) Foster, her sons, Roger Lee Best and Mark Allen Best, grandsons, Jordan Lee Best and Tyler James Best, her brother, Jerry Foster and her sister Beverly Lathers.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Herbert Funeral Home in Manistee, with Reverend Mitchel Roman officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday morning, one hour prior to the funeral service.
