McKAY, Ruth Tuhiwai (nee Grant). - On March 3, 2014, suddenly at her home in Carterton, aged 54 years. Former wife of Ian McKay. Loved Mum of Olivia, Doug and Danielle. Cherished partner of the late Ronald Stehlin. Loved Mum to Justin and Gemma, Ischialee and Rangi. Treasured Nan of Dylan; Jaydon, Eden; and Kelly-Anne. Dearly loved friend of Eric Ashby. Loved daughter of the late Stan and Ischia Grant, loved sister and sister-in-law of Bill (deceased) and Matua, Mary and Trevor Nunn, Allen and Audrey, Alexander (deceased) and Margery, Agnes and the late Melvin Adams, Ian and Shona, Pamela and Kerrin Herlihy, Owen (deceased) and Barbara, Heather, John and Lyn, Gary and Arleen, Lynette and Tasi Laumua and a loved Auntie to all her nieces and nephews. For those wishing to visit Ruth you are welcome to do so at the Richmond Funeral Home, Richmond Road, Carterton, between 9am and 5pm on Wednesday. On Thursday at 9.00am, Ruth will be taken to the Hurunuiorangi Marae, Gladstone, where she will lie until her funeral service which will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014, at 11.00am, followed by burial.
