My sympathies and my sadness is felt with you all in this time to Carol,Leona,Mark,Rachael. In sharing abit of history my late mum Gwen had a close connection with Ruth as a family friend of many years as of that our two family´s through Queen Street Chapel days also got to meet then in the later 80´s my dad Maurice and my two sisters and me spent alot of weekends out in Tokomaru visiting hanging out and supporting the youth group thus over time our bond with the Funke family has been established especially with my best mate Mark and the adventures over the years. I am glad ive had the honor of growing up knowing Ruth and the warmth kindness she has always shared. I will miss that smiling face and im sorry i didn´t get a chance to catch up with her this year. I with my sisters are privileged to have been a part of your family. A great chance to celebrate your mums life with you at this time. Regards Greg Dalton Maree Dalton and Kim Dalton. I pass on condolences from Maree as she is at present in Hamilton.

Sad news about Ruths passing, but good to be celebrating with Jesus and his angels. Her family is a wonderful living tribute. Fritz and Ruth have been long standing friends of our family over many years and a real blessing - all the way back to Queen street days. God bless you all as you celebrate Ruths life over the coming days.
