Russell was the workshop manager at Citroen Distributors in Palmy and I worked in the office when Ross Moller is was just a newby out of uni. Remember these times fondly. My children remember him at stock cars still waiting for that voice to come over. Marie Baird (Redpath)

Russell was one of my late Dad´s favourite colleagues at Garners. He was wonderful to me, encouraging and sharing my youthful passion for motorsport, and even painting up my first motorcycle helmet. A lovely man.

Russell was a likeable and incredibly positive person, always wanting to make the Manawatu Community better. He was involved with countless events in Feilding and especially involving Manfeild, motor racing, sports and community. He was MC at the Business Awards for many years and was always available to help with so many projects and events to put a smile on the faces of others. Many will retain great memories of Russell who was a thoroughly good bloke.

Condolences to Rusty´s Family and Friends. My late husband Bill Anderson worked with Rusty over many years with 2ZA, especially with the morning sports show, and commentating on Rugby. Another great voice that will sadly be missed. A true gentleman with an engaging personality. Rest In Peace Rusty, with love from Bev Anderson and Familly

Thinking of Russell's family at this sad time.
Like many people in Palmerton North and Manawatu I aways enjoyed working with him on his community and thank him sincerely for his longtime support of Arohanui Hospice.
