Ross CUFF Obituary

Aged 81 of Browns Bay, Auckland, passed away peacefully on 29 October 2025 surrounded by his wife and children. Ross will be lovingly remembered by his family and loved ones and dearly missed by all who knew him. A service to celebrate Ross' life will be held at 1.30pm on Wednesday 5 November at the LDS Chapel, 313 Sunset Road, Mairangi Bay, Auckland. The Cuff family would like to thank the staff of Harbour Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of Ross.

I first met Ross when sitting beside him in an Air New Zealand 767 heading to Fiji in 1985 to handle cyclone claims. That was the start of over 20 years of collegial friendship until l left GAB Robins in 2008.

To Barbara and family, my sincere condolences to you all. Ross will be missed but live on in all our memories.

I´m so sorry to hear about Ross´s passing. He was a gentleman. I worked for Waring, Cuff and Grieve back in the eighties and I can honestly say my six years there were some of the best working times of my career. Ross was a super boss. My condolences to you Barbara and all of your family.
