Dearly loved and devoted husband of Shirley (nee Chan), loved father of Simon and James, and dear father-in-law to Maree Hodgson, Teri Fellowes and Kylee Warren. Cherished grandad and poppa to Paige, Charlotte, Liam, Abby, Grace, Nick, Alex and Bella Minnis, and fondly remembered by Heather Minnis. In accordance with Ron's wishes, a private family service has been held. All messages to the Minnis Family, c/- PO Box 5191, Palmerston North 4441. In lieu of flowers, donations to Arohanui Hospice, PO Box 5349, Palmerston North 4441, would be appreciated.

So sorry to hear of Ron's passing. I worked with Ron for many years at Horizons Regional Council in the Eastern Area. He was a very capable Engineer and had a wide ranging knowledge of River Engineering. He helped many farmers in the Tararua District with some demanding rivers and I am sure he will be remembered for his professionalism and his easy going friendly manner.
