Ronald HOOK Obituary

1930 – 2023 Ron passed away peacefully at BUPA Riverstone Care Centre on Sunday 20th August 2023. Aged 92 years. Loving husband to Mina (dec), loved brother of Alan and Melvie (dec), uncle to Peter (dec), Grant and Michael. 'Ron's wonderful smile will never be forgotten'. Special thanks to the staff at BUPA Riverstone for their wonderful care which Ron and the family greatly appreciated. A memorial service to celebrate Ron's life will be held in the Terracehaven Chapel 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Saturday 26th August 2023 at 10.30am. Messages may be posted to c/- PO Box 5191.

Ron was a very special man and a much admired resident of Summerset on Summerhill for many years. He was a great friend to me and was so kind to me following the years after my husband's death in 2010. I will miss his smile and delightful humour. Rest in peace my friend. Marj Kells
