When I was a young child, my Uncle Robin lifted me up high onto his strong, handsome shoulders. My dear father, Neil Rowe, carried my brother Mark, on his, as we strolled through the magnificent gardens of Pukekura Park in New Plymouth.
Our little legs were weary from traversing the vast maze of walking trails in the park.
Uncle Robin thoughtfully suggested that we be carried. This happy outing is indelibly stamped on my mind as a treasured childhood memory... for it perfectly captures the quiet, towering strength of a very beautiful, gentle, loving and caring man. One who was soon to become an amazing father, himself, to two beautiful children, Rebecca and Cameron. My Uncle Robin was THE VERY BEST. I will always love him dearly for his kindness, amongst so many outstanding qualities.
It is with deepest sadness that I send my Love and Sympathy to You,
Dear Auntie Aileen, Rebecca, Cameron and Tania.
May God surround you and comfort you in this time of great sorrow.
With Much Love,
