Thomas Seifert Obituary

Thomas F. Seifert
November 25, 1956 - December 30, 2024

Tom Seifert, 68, of St. Louis, entered heaven on Monday, December 30, 2024. His big smile and sense of humor will never be forgotten. He left such an imprint on so many lives throughout his life.

Tom lived to help others, as shown by his many years as coach and mailman. He was a dedicated father, brother, uncle, son and friend to so many. For the past decade or so, he battled many health issues including cancer. His ability to trust in his faith, carry the strength and determination into each and every day will serve as an inspiration to us all for the rest of our lives.

Better know as “Seif” for many, you’ll know that he was quite the character growing up running around North St. Louis with all his buddies playing sports. His love for sports never wavered up until his last days. Whether it was an opportunity to coach his kids growing up, attending Cardinals, Blues & City games, and more recently, playing as much golf as possible in retirement, he always kept that passion. We will always remember him for his goofy personality and deep love for those who meant the most to him.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, February 28, 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1355 Motherhead Rd (Cottleville). Luncheon to follow in Parish hall.

Please check Tom’s sons, Ryan & Connor Seifert’s Facebook pages for updates.

I worked at Fenton Post Office when Tom was there and sometimes pushed up as a supervisor! He was always the nicest, down to earth guy and stayed that way when he was supervising. I've been retired over 13 years, but we stayed Facebook friends and I always wished him the best!
