Robert POLLARD Obituary

With great sadness we announce the passing of Bob, on Sunday 28th September, aged 84 years. Dearly loved husband of Dennise and Dad to Ian, Anita, Tracy and Joanne. Loved father-in-law, Grandad of 12 and great-grandad of 5. Sincere thanks to Sophie Loveridge (Kauri Healthcare) for all her support through this long journey. A Celebration of Bob's life will be held at the Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, on Friday 3rd October 2025, at 1.30pm. Bob's service will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person and can be viewed from Bob's tribute page at www.thelychway.co.nz/tributes/ All messages to the family C/- PO Box 1014, Palmerston North.

Had the pleasure of working with Bob many times during his years with rail , every trip with Bob on the train was a day full of fun and lots of good natured banter and the banter continued whenever we met after his retirement, as recently as one month ago.
Bob will be sadly missed by many
