John was one of the most genuine men I have ever known. We meet at the Feilding stables, we is myself and Athena Mackres , We rode Mary the Fairy and Star Gaze for him., He didn't encourage our pranks on the other trainers but he would certainly Laugh at us when we pulled them off. Thank you for all the amazing riding tips you gave us and all other stable hands. To Johns wife and family , Im so sorry for your loss. RIP.

Condolences and deepest sympathies for the passing of your mighty husband and father. I have many special memories of times with John and family over the many years since we got to know each other in 1971 - firstly to ride his horse Cheeky(Shalako) which he had stabled on corner of Roots St & Pharazyn St and many more times after that always to do with horses and the Mudgway family. Sadly I am unable to be with you today to help celebrate his life and farewell him but I do so with many fond memories of his kindness and humour.
Travel well on your next journey
Lots of love to family

John you were the best boss ever I will never forget all you taught me. Your love for your family, horses friends is second to none. I feel honoured to have spent my early working years with you and your family and made to feel part of your family. I often think of those days and have a chuckle at some of the names you gave the horses. You will always be remembered. Thinking of all the Mudgway Family at this time.
