It was with great sadness that Joy and I heard about Richard's passing. It was only a few months ago that we heard about his illness. It was a blessing that I caught up with him at his brother Henry's funeral very recently. We had made arrangements to catchup, however the good Lord had other ideas. Darren and Mathew you can be very proud of a wonderful father and human being. I treasure the days we had together in Levin and Kuku at our house and the family farm. I have attached a photo at our Grandmother's 75th birthday, Richard on the extreme right and me on the extreme left. You were also present at our wedding over 51 years ago, RIP.

It is with great sadness with the passing of Richard, a very longtime member of the Manawatu Jaguar Club.
To the family our sincere condolences. He will be sadly missed and remembered by club members.

So sad to hear of Richards passing ,he was so much more than our Landlord at our motel ,he was a true gentleman,I will miss having chats with Richard when ever we caught up ,Our sincere thoughts are with his family

We too are very sad to hear of Richard´s passing. We were friends in the early days and always enjoyed his company. He was a genuinely nice guy. You may remember us Darren and Mathew but it was a long time ago, in the 80s.

I was sad to read about Richard. He was a good friend when Darren and Mathew were young. A lovely gentleman. He will be missed.
