Ri WEAL Obituary

Ri died on Tuesday 20 January 2026, as a result of a cycle crash. Daughter, sister, aunt, friend of many, counsellor, cat-lover, coffee drinker, cyclist, tramper, gardener, linguist and traveller. Now with the God she loved. In lieu of flowers, we suggest a donation to the Grassroots Rescue Helicopter Trust. We will grieve, remember and celebrate her life together at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit, Broadway, Palmerston North, on Monday 2 February at 2.00pm.

So sorry to hear about Ri's passing. Our paths crossed several times over the years and it was a pleasure to know her. Along with Lindsay and Thomas (who knew her from Massey) we appreciated her humour and love for life and our creator. Rest in peace
