Dear Rachel, you were so kind and caring to me when I first moved to Waipawa. Later, we enjoyed close companionship with others in the U3A group, and the garden group. Your knowledge of CHB history was superlative. I will remember you often my dear lady. With love, Rose Chaman

My childhood memories of Aunty Rachel's home baking will never leave me; day trips to Foxton were always looked forward to. Both Kerry's and my thoughts are with my cousins. So sorry we can not be there in person.
