Graduated to Heaven peacefully on Friday 16 January 2026, surrounded by her family, aged 87 years. Cherished wife of Nelson for 66 years. Much-loved Mum of Ross & Jackie, Lance & Lynley, Brendon & Jo, Maree & Shane, Matt & Yolande & Jenny. Adored Nan of Jessica, Lorelle & Nathaniel, Nicholas & Justin, Natalie & Shannon, Sam & Jackson, Gabi, Nicole & Ronan, and their spouses. Also loved Great-Nan of her 16 great-grandchildren: Levi, Tayla, Zane, Stevie & Heath, Rico, Sonny & Sienna, Teraaka, Harry & Nelson, Lainey & Grayson, Maitland, Huxley & Sage. Loved sister and friend of Catherine & Grace. Messages to the Whitelock family may be left via robertjcotton.co.nz/funerals. A service to celebrate Phyllis's life will be held on Friday 23 January 2026 at 1.30pm in the Cotton's Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North.
